Dispersions and formulations consist of phases that do not mix well and tend to separate, impacting product performance and appearance over time. In most cases, Shelf-Life is determined by visual observation, sometimes using high-temperature storage to accelerate destabilizations. However, this low-sensitivity approach is slow, costly, labor-intensive, and prone to human error.
Making the right formulation also requires multiple trials to screen different formulations with targeted physical parameters while testing different raw materials and processes. These trials are extremely time and resource-consuming.
