DIMENSIONS is Microtrac's proprietary measurement and evaluation software for the dynamic image analysis and laser scattering product lines. The software comprises five clearly structured Workspaces for method development, operation of the analyzer, result presentation and evaluation of several analyses.
Individual Workspaces can be separated from the program and transferred to a second monitor to give you full control of all relevant processes and parameters. The Workspaces for the result evaluation remain accessible during the entire duration of the analysis.

As of March 2023, all NANOTRAC analyzers come with the DIMENSIONS LS software.
As of January 2021, all CAMSIZER instruments of the series 3D, X2, M1, and P4 come with the DIMENSIONS IA software.
DIMENSIONS IA is compatible with CAMSIZERs of the 3D, X2, M1 and P4 generation.
DIMENSIONS LS is compatible with all NANOTRAC devices which run FLEX version 11.1.0.0 or higher.
Yes, all measurement conditions of the previous software can be transferred.
Yes, older measuring data can be opened and edited with the DIMENSIONS software.

DIMENSIONS comprises five different Workspaces for method development, instrument control, result presentation and data evaluation. The Workspaces can be separated and displayed on a second monitor, if required, allowing for full control over all relevant processes.
Each Workspace features so called Building Blocks with information or functions relevant for the respective area. You can adapt the Building Blocks to your requirements and adjust DIMENSIONS in a way that best suits you.
The recalculations of results can be performed with the Calculation Workspace – both for a single measurement and for a complete set of results.
The new Particle Viewer makes particle and image data available even faster than before. Additionally, new features include improved filter functions.

DIMENSIONS IA presents the results of particle size and shape analyses obtained with a CAMSIZER instrument. For each particle, dozens of morphological parameters are recorded.
DIMENSIONS LS presents the results of particle size analyses obtained with a NANOTRAC analyzer. Additionally, the results of different databases can be now compared.
With both versions, the result presentation can be easily adapted to virtually any requirement.
The CAMSIZER as well as the NANOTRAC instruments are employed in almost every industry. Thanks to the easy operation and extensive evaluation options, DIMENSIONS IA and LS are the ideal tools for both routine analyses as well as for complex R&D applications.
Currently, the DIMENSION LS software is only compatible with the NANOTRAC product series. Of course, DIMENSION LS will also be usable with the SYNC laser diffraction analyzer in the near future. More information will follow soon.
